En ce dimanche matin, Seyssel s\u2019est rassembl\u00e9 devant l’\u00e9cole Jules Coissard, pour honorer la m\u00e9moire des victimes des tragiques \u00e9v\u00e9nements de f\u00e9vrier 1944.
Un moment de recueillement, de transmission et de respect. Merci aux nombreuses personnes pr\u00e9sentes (associations, habitants, enfants, \u00e9lus, autorit\u00e9s). Se souvenir pour transmettre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En ce mois de f\u00e9vrier 1944, du 10 au 13 f\u00e9vrier, Seyssel va conna\u00eetre la terreur et les repr\u00e9sailles des forces nazies, command\u00e9es par le tristement c\u00e9l\u00e8bre Klaus Barbie (surnomm\u00e9 le boucher de Lyon)\u00a0; forces nazies comprenant une compagnie de la Wehrmacht, une section de SS, un groupe de policier de la Gestapo et un groupe de miliciens de Seyssel, \u00e0 l\u2019origine de cette d\u00e9nonciation. Car c\u2019est bien une d\u00e9nonciation \u00e0 l\u2019origine de cette trag\u00e9die. Klaus Barbie et ses sbires ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 s\u00e9vi sur la r\u00e9gion ; ils viennent \u00e0 Seyssel dans un but pr\u00e9cis : traquer les r\u00e9sistants, les terroristes.
Pendant 3 jours, Seyssel va \u00eatre \u00e0 feu et \u00e0 sang, plongeant toute la population dans une torpeur glaciale de ce mois de f\u00e9vrier 1944.
50 personnes vont \u00eatre interpell\u00e9es et enferm\u00e9es dans cette \u00e9cole pour \u00eatre interrog\u00e9es. Au cours de l’op\u00e9ration, 11 personnes vont \u00eatre froidement abattues, 23 autres d\u00e9port\u00e9es vers les camps de la mort ; 5 seulement reviendront de cet enfer.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
